Drawing and painting is something i’ve always done in one way or the other but i’ve never really found myself making actual artworks. That’s until recently when i discovered the POSCA markers. These Japanese markers is filled with paint instead of ink, making them easer to draw with as they are more forgivable to mistakes. The pigments in the paint are much thicker than it would be with normal ink, making it possible to draw black and then totally cover it with white afterwards, almost without the black coming through.
It’s a well known thing that staring into the screen of an iPad or a laptop before going to bed makes sleep become worse. To me, drawing in the evenings while listening to a podcast rather than watching TV or YouTube, improves my sleep.
Here are a few of the drawings that i’ve made so far. Making a drawing like these may take up to one week of one an a half hours of drawing every day.
